It is important to understand that in order to expedite the completion of your transaction we are asking you these personal questions to help us complete the Confidential Statement of Information form required to be provided to the Title Company on your behalf.
We are not unnecessarily interested in your personal affairs; however, we have been asked to insure the title transfer to the buyer for your current real property in which you are selling.

Such matters do cloud the title to the property, unless eliminated. To accurately differentiate between individuals with similar names when searching recorded documents, the title company relies on a properly completed Confidential Statement of Information.

By using this information, the title company can effectively identify whether a recorded document is relevant to the transaction at hand or we could eliminate them.
